1. What Mecone provides

Mecone publishes prediction-market-implied indices, model-derived estimates built from public data and live prediction-market prices. The Service is informational and research-oriented. The values shown are paper / simulated: they do not represent real positions, and the Service does not currently offer trading, custody, or the settlement of funds.

2. Not financial advice

Nothing on the Service is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice, and nothing is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, derivative, or other instrument. Indices are estimates and may be wrong, delayed, or revised. Any decision you make is your own. Do your own research and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

3. Third-party data

The Service relies on third-party sources, including FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis), Parcl Labs, Kalshi, and Polymarket, provided “as is.” We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data, and your use of it may be subject to those providers’ own terms. All third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use the Service, and you must not be barred from doing so under applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• scrape, overload, or otherwise interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
• reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or its data except as permitted; or
• attempt to manipulate, falsify, or misrepresent any index or its inputs.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, methodology, index construction, text, and the Mecone name and logo, is owned by Mecone and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy or reproduce it without our written permission.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that any index will be accurate or current.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mecone and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or any index, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Changes

We may update the Service or these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
